Almond Catering was founded in 2004 and in 2005 became Scotland’s largest independent company in the sector, one which has built up an enviable reputation for delivering the best in quality, combined with personal service and attention to detail. Our target ambition over the next three years is to double our business to 16 milion.
Through our 50-plus client base, including many industry-leading companies involving multi-site contracts, we feed more than five million people each year.
What makes us different? For a start, our quality-driven catering service is customised to each individual client and we offer our clients more senior management than any other contractor – which means each group manager looks after no more than 10 contracts.
We know and care about foodservice and take pride in standing out from the crowd by providing exceptional service and bringing high street standards to client restaurants.

We challenge conventional thinking because, in our experience, our clients – such as VisitScotland, John Wood Group and GE Caledonian – demand more than standard options.
As a high quality and imaginative catering service, we help achieve business objectives, adding value through improving employee satisfaction levels, increasing productivity and generating additional income streams. On taking over client restaurants, we have increased average staff usage from 30% to 80% (the average staff usage of our restaurants is 70%).
